Engineered To Chip
Sub-Compact Tractor Capacity
Operates on tractors with 15–30 HP at the PTO. The 19" × 18.5" hopper opening tapers to a 4" × 6" throat, accepting branches from ¼" up to a full 4" in diameter.
Hydraulic Infeed System
A 6" hydraulically driven infeed roller actively grabs and pulls material — forward, neutral and reverse with variable speed and adjustable down-pressure. No manual feeding.
Dynamically Balanced 18" Flywheel
An 18" (46 cm), ¾" thick solid-steel flywheel with four CNC-machined blade pockets and four fan-blade paddles spinning at 540 RPM for consistent throw and smooth cutting.
Flywheel Locking Pin
A dedicated locking pin makes blade changes and flywheel maintenance safe and fast — every blade can be accessed with a simple pin position.
Reversible Chipper Blades
Four hardened-steel reversible knives held with countersunk M10 bolts. Clamshell flywheel housing opens with a single bolt for full access — flip or swap blades in minutes.
Folding Infeed Chute
The large 19" × 18.5" folding infeed chute swallows brushy limbs whole, then folds up to shrink the footprint for transport and storage.
360° Discharge Chute

Did not disappoint. This is a great unit and was a perfect fit for my BX2380. I have run 4in debris through the chipper with no issues, and no noticebale change in tractors RPM. This has saved me so much time cleaning up my property. The hydraulic infeed is a must in my opinion, makes feeding debris much easier. When I received it, assembly was straight forward and took no time at all. Its nice that i can take the chipper all over my property to the debris rather than having to drag all the debris to the chipper. Latest Greatest Addition
I decided to buy this wood chipper after watching a video on its features and how it used thinking it would be great for cleaning up my 14 acres that needs to be fire smarted. The unit arrived just as the season was shutting down but I did get in a couple sessions with it. Assembly was very straightforward thanks to detailed instructions in Canadian English and I was very impressed with the robustness, build quality and thoughtful design. Had I known this, I would not have bought a lesser sawmill two years back and bought a Woodland Mills one instead. From the start of opening the assembly manual to putting the unit into use the process has been pain free. The assembly manual is well written and logical compared to some others. The key for me was spending the extra to have the auto feed system. It makes the feeding of material easy and with the reverse feed jams are quickly eliminated. I was concerned at first about having enough power with my IH 40 year old 18 PTO horse power tractor, but after feeding it a few lengths of 3"-4" all concerns went away!

Everything I expected from the unit and the company came to pass. From the initial contact with sales people, who were extremely helpful in helping me determine what kind of unit I should consider, to the delivery of the unit as advertised. The assembly was clearly described in the paperwork. The advantage of having the hydraulic driven feed drum helps a great deal in the feeding of material to be chipped. This chipper has met or exceeded every one of my expectations. It's well built and thoughtfully engineered, and it has been working flawlessly for me. My 25HP tractor (18.5 HP @ PTO) has handled it well, even with 3"+ diameter hardwood with the feed roller speed set to around 75%. The hydraulic power feed is really key to its convenience, it's a night and day difference relative to gravity-fed chippers I've used before - it saves a ton of time trimming small side branches since the feed will just bend or break them as it pulls in the main stem, the feed chute is near-horizontal so you're not levering small trees or large branches up to a 45 degree angle to get them in the chute, and it feeds so much faster.

Working is not suppose to be this much fun 🤩
The delivery was a bit of an “Ace Ventura” in that the iron crate the unit shipped in was bent. As a result one of the shute panels was slightly damaged. The good news, Woodland Mills solved the damaged panel issue 🤗. Instructions, both hard copy and video are excellent. Assembly was flawless. Most of what we are chipping is in the 2” diameter range. Best woodchipper for the money, next step up comparable to this one would cost you 10 time the price of this. I have absolutely no complaints and I have put a lot of wood through mine. It is attached to my Massey Ferguson GC1725M. I have jammed some large pieces in that woodchipper, pushing the limits, but it does not bog down the tractor or anything, runs perfect. The feed system is very powerful, I love the way I can take a huge piece, start it and get the next piece while its auto feeding and making quick work of it! we have a lot of hard woods like hedge in Missouri and it eats it up like nothing.

A great little product
I was hoping to get the 6” chipper but my Tractor wouldn’t support it. It turns out the 4” is just perfect. Anything bigger than 3” we will burn. The automatic feed is amazing and makes things so easy compared to a self feeding type chipper. The chute has jammed a couple times early in but that was operator error and feeding it too quick with too many leaves. The one drawback I have experienced is that if you chip smaller branches with a lot of leaves it is more prone to clogging. I keep a few smaller branches without leaves nearby so the wood chips will push through the leaf matter. I will also plan my chipping for spring and fall, before and after the leaves are around. Other than that it has great power and fits my specific need just fine.

Back in 2019 I bought the woodland mills 8” wood chipper for my 57 hp tractor. I was amazed at how well built it was. I used it for a few years and sold it and my 57 hp tractor. I purchased a 25 hp tractor for yard maintenance and grass cutting and purchase woodland mills 4” chipper. It’s as good or better than the 8” handles 4” green with no problem not even bogging the tractor. I’m impressed. I also bought the woodland mills stump grinder and it’s impressive as well.

Works great off my JD2305, handles just about all non-log worthy wood when I'm taking down full trees, very handy to chip as I lob so I'm not moving brush all over my property. Love the auto feed which was a major upgrade from my former stand alone unit. Gotta watch out for odd twisted logs though - usually can un-jam via reverse but when it happens just right you can't reverse the jam and it's a big pain to loosen all tension springs to remove (only has happened twice in about 18 trees, you live you learn..). Totally worth while attachment investment if you're clearing trails and maintaining a larger property with a compact utility tractor.
