Engineered To Chip
20–50 HP Tractor Capacity
Operates on tractors with 20–50 HP at the PTO. A 23" × 27" hopper opening tapers to a 6" × 8" throat, chipping branches from ¼" up to a full 6" in diameter.
Hydraulic Infeed System
An 8.25" hydraulically driven infeed roller actively grabs and pulls material — forward, neutral and reverse with variable speed. No manual feeding, no bogging down.
Dynamically Balanced 24" Flywheel
A 24" (61 cm), ¾" thick solid-steel flywheel with four CNC-machined blade pockets and four large fan-blade paddles spinning at 540 RPM for consistent throw and smooth cutting.
Flywheel Locking Pin
A dedicated locking pin makes blade changes and flywheel maintenance safe and fast — no unsafe workarounds, no fighting the flywheel.
Reversible Chipper Blades
Four hardened-steel reversible knives held with M10 bolts. Clamshell flywheel housing opens with a single bolt for full access — change or flip blades in minutes.
Folding Infeed Chute
The large 23" × 27" folding infeed chute swallows brushy limbs whole, then folds up for compact transport and storage.
360° Discharge Chute
Rotates a full 360° with two handles and stands 66" off the ground — blow chips into a truck bed, trailer, or straight down with the rotating deflector.
Shear-Pin Protected PTO Shaft
A shear-pin protected PTO shaft is included in the box — Cat 1 Quick Hitch compatible for fast, wrench-free hookup to your tractor.

I purchased the WC68 this spring and have been using it to chip all of my dead and down wood on my 7 acres of wooded land where my cabin is located and using to chips to line my one mile of dog walking trails. What a beast it has been ! It is hooked up to a Kubota L2900 with 25hp pro which has never bogged down right up to the 6” max diameter wood. The majority of the wood I run thru it is small branches or trees. Clogging is not generally an issue unless I run lots of branches loaded with leaves. Earlier in the spring when I started the job the branches were bare or dry and never had an issue. I might look for a shorter bolt that holds the hinged cover down just to make that procedure quicker. Or maybe a heavy duty latch that doesn’t require a tool.

Never one to let anything go to waste, my husband converted the packing crate from our wood chipper delivery to make a tote for wood chips so he can deliver them to my gardens and flowerbeds, and everywhere else they’re needed. The front wall is divided so the chips can be scooped out and unloaded without dumping them all at once. Brilliant!

Chews it up and spits it out
I am very impressed by this machine. I went with the WC68 knowing that it was rated for a higher HP. Mine is 19.5 at PTO. I will burn anything over 4". I mainly wanted the larger opening to be able to better pull in the branches and crooked limbs. I also wanted the heavier flywheel. Once it's going at 540 RPMs, not much is going to stop it.
One thing that was the deciding factor for me was safety. I liked that the control handle was just under the feed chute. If anything bad were to happen a push of your leg would stop and reverse the feed. A competitor that I was looking at had the control above.
The shipping crate was made of welded angle iron. I added casters (HF) to the bottom so I can move it around by barn.

Buy This Chipper!!
Purchased the WC68 Chipper about 4 months ago. I absolutely love this machine. From the start, shipping was effortless and the initial setup went fine. Take your time on the assembly process. Step by step instructions carry you through the entire process. Once complete, the hookup process went easy. Now, I power this unit with a Kubota BX2380. The horsepower of my tractor is at the low end of the requirements of this chipper. It will pick up this unit. A quick hitch makes it much easier to hook up but will make it harder for my tractor to pick it up. Not a problem without a quick hitch. You make the call. Performance is outstanding. Control the speed of the infeed for the larger limbs going through. Remember, you won’t be running 6” material all the time. This is the third chipper I have used and is by far the best quality I have ever used. I am amazed by the overall quality and performance of Woodland Mills. From placing the order to running this machine, I cannot be any more pleased. Thank you Woodland Mills for providing such an excellent product and Customer Service. I purchased the WC68 wood chipper a few months ago and I have been very happier with it. My purpose in purchasing was primarily for cleaning up an extremely overgrown farm yard where I grew up. There is a wide range of trees, maple , elm , poplar , caragana , chokecherry etc. The chipper handles everything I put into it. It is very easy to service. Good Little Chipper
I have the WC68 chipper. Overall I am happy with this. It is able to chip everything I feed it. I have put about 100 hours on it.
Pros: Construction appears good. Easy to service. Even when the knives slam the 5-6 inch branches around it has caused no dents or breaks.
Cons: Was not able to bolt the protective ring onto the feed chute correctly. It was 3 mm or so too small. I ended up bolting one side inside of the chute and the other outside. The hydraulic drive belt is listed as an AX41 in the manual. It is definitely not. I had to replace the belt a few weeks ago. I was able to get an AX41 to work but the belt is several inches longer than what it came with. It took the entire length of the tension bolt to tighten it resulting in the pully almost touching the belt on the other side. This can be seen in one of the photos. I am in North Carolina, very hot. Even though I am running the heavy weight oil, the in feed drum does sometimes stop when the temp is >90 F. I don't think it is a design problem, just very hot here in the summer.
Overall I would recommend this. We had a severe storm come through a month ago and I have been using it to clean up all the downed trees.
